Ahh... trying to buy more BTC but the service I use has limits that I didn't notice... its going to take about 7 days for it all to clear as it will do it in daily chunks. By the end I will either get a great price for my money, or a mere fraction I could have bought today at market rates!

Don't know what to feel haha. Someone hold me.

End of the day, I'll have more BTC. Can only be a good thing.

I echo other sentiments. I will NOT be trying to day trade. I am kicking myself for not cashing out stocks I had before the SEC headaches that have occurred recently, I would have been up 30+ BTC from a mere 4 BTC investment.... now I'm not going to try and be smart/greedy. Hold all the way.

to the moon BTC.... to the moon...

Excuse me sire, I would prefer a ticket to Mars if you please!!!  Wink Cheesy

Co-incidently, I actually have a background in space physiology, and have worked with people involved in missions to Mars.

Bitcoin is interesting to think about from the perspective on an interplanetary currency. However, I presume there would have to be a MarsCoin alt given that communication times are so long!

For now though... like the real deal, lets just focus on getting this rocket off the ground Wink

Stamp seems to have been fine for me all day, but I'm over in Europe so I don't know...

Did the lower ask walls on Stamp get bought or just pulled, was anyone watching? Now we just have regular asks placed evenly up to 900, where a 500ish BTC wall sits...

All I try to do on the 'clear drops' is take the small trading fraction of my BTC holdings and increase it by 7%, then hold it again until I see a 'clear drop' again.

No point trying for more I figure, being greedy is only going to bite me back later... so come on, drop a few dollars more....

I would argue its still not easy. Otherwise everyone would be doing it right? Wink

I had my first bitcoin dream last night, right after I sold some of my coins in preparation for a drop.

Watching the price ticker, its suddenly at double digits. I check and check again (am I using the right units? Am I looking at some obscure exchange?). Yet still... the price is double digits. As quickly as I can I race to put an order in on Stamp. The price is shooting up, and my bids keep missing! Panic! Finally I purchase some for $83... I had done it! Ten times the coins in one day!

Then I woke up....

Small mercy is that in the real world, the price didn't rise as I slept, and is actually dropping. Now to not get too greedy!

Still... it was a nice dream.

Just woke up here in the UK, (8.10am) thank god the crash happened at a reasonable time for once! Rebought in, made a gutsy sale last night and it's payed off. If wager a significant portion of Europe still hasn't seen this yet, but will do in the next hour or two... Whether this means selling or buying who knows.

Why does the price of LTC/BTC also tank during this? Is it because if you lose faith in BTC (with the BTC/USD price crashing) you loose even more faith in alts?

LTC is tied with BTC pretty much always since March (bar a short period of 2-3 weeks below it's huge rise recently).

Most coins are now tied with BTC unfortunately, and that's something new. They were usually going in opposite direction of btc and that's where big money could be made.

Sorry I still don't quite understand. What do you exactly mean by tied?

I get that LTC/USD drops as well, since people think LTC is only worth a fraction of BTC (which in my mind means 'tied').

But I don't understand why LTC is now thought to be worth less BTC than a few days ago.

Well it just keeps getting fucking worse.

Yup, still some big sells coming through!

Double Digits incoming.
Sell now and gain much coins.

We will drop very low.

Much coins, very wow, many cheap!

Hilariously somehow DOGE is up a fair amount against BTC on CoinedUp.

No point me trying to get any luckier. Set a few buys at the high 400s, otherwise, I'm back into BTC with a small profit.

Be careful everyone!

Right time for bed. Made about 5% extra BTC today, and even though I can see it sliding a little further, I sleep better holding BTC. Enjoy everyone!
