i dont wanna sell because i will probably lose my coins, i am bad at trading. but it seems like theres not many people that want to buy at these prices anymore. all the good news in the world doesnt do anything anymore if people think price will drop.

is it greedy to hold onto the most value if you think the market will move?

Gotta say, it's sure looking like we may see a serious bull OR bear TKO pretty soon.

On the one hand, there's plenty of reason for folks to sell off ahead of a large deepening decline, and the news is just recursive ditherings. *points to chart and news*

On the other, the chart reminds me a WHOLE LOT of the beginning of November, after coming off the ATH and coiling up for an upsurge. *points to chart and news*

Either way, next year we are going to see more massive ATH's. Might I suggest, that before that time (spring '14), many of us consider cold storage, for the sake of Baby Jesus (ahem, I meant the sake of getting some sleep, and reducing stress and BTC LOSS-- no offense to the Believers of Baby Jesus Magick).

I've had no problem sleeping since I missed my chance to sell at 1000-1100 before we found support at 540-630 depending where you traded. Sad I missed out but I'll keep my eyes open, just don't see that happening so close together especially since that drop was helped to go as low as it did.

I doubt we break out of 1000 again this week though, I however enjoy being wrong at times.

I can't help but remain optimistic. When my exchange has a constant back log of verifications, 40-100 processed a day with 60 new coming in a day has kept cavirtex with about 1400 people pending verification.
I remember right before April crash mtgox had 12,000 pending verifications and was doing 1500 per day.
yeah verification queue is very much lagging indicator. i entered speculation in april, got my money to exchange ready to buy and then crashed hard. i sat on sidelines and let it fall. no interest in buying at that time as a newbie.

IT IS OVER GUYS, the Bitcoin Cat is out of the bag !

The last days of 2013 will forever be the last days of cheap coins.

All TA shows down down down, but we ain't moving. All exchanges on new acc backlogs...

We may yet visit the 600 range once more in the coming week(s), but that's about it. Once we bounce back say good bye to sub 2k coins forever.

i'd wait until we break 1242 before saying no sub2k forever....

Block 274545

80,000  BTC sent in that block alone

A lot of BTC is moving around this last 2 hours.

I thats almost 250,000 BTC  in the last 2 hours in multiple transactions.

Are these big recent moves from addresses of the exchanges moving inventory? Anyone?
i'd be curious..... dunno how to start that type of analysis though..... dont know exchange hotwallets etc

Someone bought above 1k $.

Lol. Not even close. Nope.

Just telling it how it is.

We should have gone a lot lower after that double top at 1242. There just too much people & institutional money waiting to get in.
maybe. not so sure. i am sure institutional money wants in..... dunno if at the top of a 12-13x runup in 2 months deal.

I tend to agree with this. This market has less than 3 weeks to go down IMO.

Whatever bottom it finds is the new $50.
bold prediction.

Every time you trade fiat for btc you have made a profitable trade. The end.
that's only if bitcoin rises forever. not a sure thing. i dont want all my eggs in btc basket

real big spreads between bids and asks, especially on mtgox. does this indicate anything?

And it's over already. Now everyone will sell to get their 50 bucks profit and we'll be back where we started.

don't forget the people that panic bought and immediately panic sold for a 50 dollar loss. there's plenty of those here too. Smiley

the bulls expect a bubble, the bears expect a flash crash, and instead we get $5-10 whipsaws where the day traders are pulling their hair out. my thoughts, anyway. Grin
