Wow. The old thread took almost 1yr to reach 1200 pages. This thread is only 23 days old and already up to 340 pages. Will a new thread be made each month? I guess the trolls and newbs need their place. And what better place for a troll to hang out, than this thread with all the new accounts posting seeking advice, fresh blood for the taking. If you are getting your trading advice from this subforum, you are letting others toy with your emotions and getting played by the trolls. You can trade profitably without ever visiting this subforum so why are you letting others tell you what to do? Emotions have no place in trading, other than manipulation. This subforum should be used for entertainment purposes only.

You know good and well there are many traders with $50k+ bankrolls to trade with, the walls tell you as much, but yet you don't see any of those people posting advice here? You are listening to people who have no clue what is actually going on, or either they do have a clue and know exactly what their doing to you. Saying the price will go up and a day later down, pushing and pulling you back and forth trying to make a decision until you're an emotional wreak that makes bad trading decisions. Don't let others determine the price of your coins.

I just noticed this while checking virwox, did this really happen?

keewee, I see now that the volume wasn't linked after looking at a shorter time frame. Don't know if glitch because it doesn't go all the way down. Could probably use sierrachart bridge to look at trade data.

The safest exchange right now is virwox imo since they have a long history with SLL and even if something really weird happens they should remain in operation even in the worst scenario. And they are the only exchange which provides paypal.

+1
Virwox

It's extremely possible there could be no big crash this time around. All the people selling now expecting a 3rd crash so they can buy back in will be fucked. Most of the last crashes involved some bad news of sorts. Things tend to happen twice in bitcoin, but not a third time. Don't be surprised if all we get are mini crashes on the way up. It's a good way to take coins from the weak hands who don't know what they have.

How many times has price gone sideways, went down, and not back up eventually?

If newegg is advertising a mining combo deal, it can't be long til they start accepting bitcoins as payment, right?

In the past, price has always went UP after any stable period.

I'm not sure how much longer the price will pretend to be stable, it may be weeks or months.

If the price drops from here and doesn't come back up, it would be a first in bitcoin history.

12. Post 6839679 (copy this link) (by navigator) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_12.45h):

I've never seen the price go down after a stable period, yet people still ask and speculate on which way it will go.

Long stable boredom periods cause bitcoin rallys.

14. Post 6881327 (copy this link) (by navigator) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_12.46h):

When do you guys think the first sell-off will be?
Will it crash from 600-400 then back up? 800-600? 1000-400? Previous ATH?

How do we agree on a previous ATH when the price was different on all the exchanges plus mtgox is gone? There was about a 1-day period at virwox where you could have sold 1btc for 300,000 SLL and sold those for $1320. So did virwox have the highest ATH at $1320? or do we go by bitstamp or mtgox or huobi ATH?

When comparing the "point of maximum financial risk" chart with a standard bubble chart, do we overlap the risk chart twice? Going through all the risk emotions quickly during the first sell off? So we should hit a brief euphoria phase near the top of the first sell off?

I believe we will continue going through these bubble fractals until the public phase reaches final saturation. In the previous bubbles, each time we reach the public phase it doesn't absorb everyone so there is room left over for more bubbles. Bitcoin won't stop making bubbles until we've blown them in everyone's faces.

When has bitcoin price ever broken downward after a "stable" period following a peak? Is this time different? Stay tuned to find out...
