The price is consolidating. I think in 24 hours we will see a move. No idea up or down and i am not even guessing, just reacting to the market.

I think it will go down lower.

Why not 100x leverage?

All debt is just money creation...which is theft...from those who are not borrowing.

So, why not 10,000x leverage?

If the we cared about being fair, all debt should be outlawed. It is theft, with a maturity attached to it. All debt is a ponzi if it is more than 1x.

^Bitcoin in a nutshell. Three different-sized wheels. Special road. Exact path must be followed.

All for what?

To go around in circles, while people point fingers & laugh.

Undecided

They aught to make trains this way so they won't be able to derail.

The GBTC market closed at the all time low at 27.15 dollars per share (~280 dollars per bitcoin) with volume of 4950 shares (less than 490 bitcoins).

Meanwhile, the volume of Bitcoin Tracker One was ~949 bitcoins.

Future of Bitcoin... $27
Wall street shorting BTC to hell.

Short it to zero with infinite leverage. Then the coin will break when miners stop.

It's going to continue going down.

I think Cryptsy or even Poloniex has more volume than GBTC and the Stockholm. Giving away free bitcoin mining toasters is hardly impressive as well.

It's been just big disappointment after big disappointment.

I also think that the Chinese can control the mining industry and actually take losses there that are made up through market manipulation.

Bitcoin would be far better off PoS. Right now it's a huge bottomless hole of electricity cost and one nuclear miner or subsidized miner would knock everyone's socks off. Also, you have money going into BTC and then money flowing into machines the equivalent of a 1970's type writer (worthless now.) It would be much better if it was "all in one". It may encourage people to solo stake (pool staking seems sketchyish.)  Bitcoin has far to many people invested/scamming with mining for it to change at this point I fear...

PoS would provide better growth for the network.

You basically just described. Mintcoin

Buying in Chinese Yuan, selling in USD. They aren't buying Bitcoin, they are just using Bitcoin to buy Dollars. To avoid capital controls.

Estimating Finex's weekly volume at around BTC134k so about BTC6,968k/yr traded on finex. At ~ 0.25%fee on each trade Finex makes BTC17.5k/yr in fees. Depending how much BTC they held, and how much they have in assets, probably the best thing would be to try to run it as a fractional reserve with 50% in finexcoins.

Didn't Cryptsy try running a fractional reserve after they got hacked? It kept them afloat for a bit, but as people stop trading there it wasn't sustainable, then they upped the withdrawal fees, to try to keep the money on the exchange, then the eventually just took what was left of everybody's coins fled the country.

If you have ANY coins at all left stuck on BitFinex I would say you will be lucky fortunate to get them back.
