So what is prediction on few months from now ?

IF we go up again a few 100, which as you can see is gonna be very hard because these traders and dumpers completely destroyed confidence, then the following will happen. At the point where everything starts to look good again and the confidence is back people will start dumping and trading in order to get cheap coins. They will fuck over everyone who bought coins and dump the shit out of the market because of an insane obsession over cheap coins.

Just enjoy the cheap coins  Cool

I don't understand why everybody is complaining. This is exactly what you wanted. We finally had a chance to go up because of the Paypal news. It was extremely lucky we had that oppertunity in this bear market. So we did go up and after 50 dollars you absolutely dumped this shit out of the market to make your 100 bucks profit. Now you sit here complaining why we go down.
It's because you scared away all potential buyers with your idiotic way of trading. It's that simple. And you will do it again as soon as we go up 50 bucks. So just stop crying and complaining.
Who gives a shit as long as you can make some profit.

This is what you traders wanted. Month after month you dumped on every price rise to make your 50 bucks profit. All the way till where we are now. And now you're shitting your pants because the price stopped going up.
And the most idiotic part is the minute we go up you will do it all over again. Until you scared away every single buyer. And then you wonder why the market won't go up anymore.

Really, stop crying. You wanted this. I can't read this shit anymore.

Sure.  Got to have losers to have winners.
That said, today's winners are bigger, tougher and smarter than me.  So for me, trading now is more like gambling.  Minus hookers and blow.

Here's a possible reversal pattern from this long downtrend with some support/resistance lines.

To validate the pattern and go up further we need to break through the top line on heavy volume, heavier than the previous 4 green candles. If the market is extra bullish, we are almost to the resistance point. However, we may visit support on the bottom line, which is around $340. So don't get your panties in a bunch if we head down--if the pattern holds true we will head back up before too long... if the buyers are there.
Am I the only one who sees an inverted head and shoulders pattern?

You aren't thinking like a criminal. The criminals will just acquire fake IDs, get verified, buy BTC and withdraw.

I actually think this was a manipulative move done by Bitstamp to stop its descent and propel it upwards. I expect many more of such manipulations by hodlers, and inevitably some will succeed, as did Willy.

Hell, Bitstamp probably has a whole folder with detailed emergency procedures of what to do when the price gets too low for them. Remember that at equivalent volume levels in BTC, a declining price means declining profits for them.

I'm really disappointed with this latest pump. It looked like the perfect setup for inciting a nice rally: Large, intimidating bidwalls placed where many were expecting the price to bounce. Stealthy accumulation the day before the pump began. Multi million dollar market buys.

But after the last 2 dumps there is no effort to go back up. Low volume. Already went below 340 again on Finex despite the weak askside there. Lots of shorts closed, hardly any new longs opened.

I've honestly tried to be bullish, but...
I'm pretty sure we'll pump next week.

Bitcoin will probably go sideways the next 24 hours, as people seem to be buying the fake bidwalls that have been put forward. I wonder what would happen if one whale gets out there with a 20-30k wall. We'll probably crash back to 330 in no time.
You couldn't be more wrong, lmao.

Feel free to explain yourself then. Simply stating 'you couldn't be more wrong', and then adding the juvenile 'lmao' doesn't really cut it, now does it?
We just had a breakout.

What if Mark Karpeles managed Silk Road and Ross Ulbricht managed MtGox and that's why both have gone to shit?
What if Mark Karpeles is a genius criminal mastermind?

Inb4 Karpeles is Satoshi.
Bitcoin would go to 1 cent if this was true.
Everything makes sense now.

Karpeles made Bitcoin so he could launder his money through a online drug site. The site would grow popular due to its ability to not need a middle man, this would appeal to drug dealers, Karpeles target market. Next his site gets busted. He hires a frontman (Ross) to take the blame so he can work on plan B: Attack of the Willy bot. Using funds from SR and user
deposits he pumped BTC to 1200. Then he will cash out his funds and use that to deepen the rabbit whole. He would tip off newsweek to get crazy jorno's after Dorian Nakamoto while Karpeles Sataoshi escapes. He would play dumb so no one would expect him. He was an idiot fat kid, no one would suspect he was the master mind behind one of the most disruptive technologies ever.

So WTF was the man in twitter talking about??? Nothing happened....yet

yeah whatsup with the fat Adam guy, anyone has news? Must be Miami conference related, right?

Why not just tweet the news yesterday? Probably because there is none.

Pay attention.

http://dailyhashrate.com/2015/01/16/adam-guerbuezs-big-news/

Lyft or Uber would announce Bitcoin support?

Making sense to me, coz these two are competing fiercely. Using bitcoin to do a free marketing is definitely a no-brainer for any one of them.

According to this thread it looks like Tether is going to soon become operational on Bitfinex. Could this be the big news?

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=926366.0

Tether stinks of being
- centralized
- tied to USD

 no influential backers.

Yeah, Bitfinex.

If you folks have any sense you'd pull all your coins off the exchanges 'cos someones running fractional reserve, over 10k dumped and no movement on days destroyed and only a couple of k's worth of dollar swaps pulled. No excuse for lack of transparency on exchanges, if others can run with transparency and user controlled wallets then what do they have to hide? If you're not asking that you're irresponsible with your coins and deserve to lose them. I'd suggest stopping trading on the first of every month and pulling coins to drive out the bad actors.
Excatly, don't trade, just hodl.
