Same here. I get up at 5:15am because of work. I make coffee, then I check the price and latest headlines. Been on this routine since January. There has only been about 3 times, when I rushed to buy some coins first thing in the morning after checking the price.

Bulls are just taking a breath after all those green candles in a row. It is big in America, but for some reason people think that Coinbase and Bitpay operate with zero capital on hand. They believe every time some one buys or sells then coinbase and bitpay have to run to the exchanges to get the BTC or fiat creating this imaginary retailer dump they are waiting for.  

If there's a dump within a week's time it will be from the Dec 4th auction, not a retailer dump.

lol I'll give him 2 weeks on that. He's clearly stuck in a bad short and raging in the forum. I closed all my shorts in October when indicators suggested we were approaching a trend reversal. Since then longs have been working out very well.

I absolutely believe it's possible, even much higher. HOWEVER I would not bet on it. Almost anything is possible with price of BTC. All you need is demand and new money for the price to rise. With coinbase's new exchange and the expected launch of Gemini, regulated exchanges could attract new money from deeper pockets of those who may have been skeptical about the existing exchanges.

I've read it five times and I'm still confused.

We've been above or out of the long term down trend as of March 1st from what I'm seeing. So it's only been 4 days, so could just be a 'false break' or it could be the start of a trend reversal. It would only take a drop to $245 ($22) to be back into the bear trend.

 I'd say that we need to above this long term trend line for longer than just a few days before we can say we are out of the bear market. Things look promising but just a $20 swing can put is back in the downtrend.  Just look at May last year, things looked good, but then we went straight back down. If we're still moving up and above the trend line April 15th then I'd be pretty convinced we're out.

Do we want them making the decision as to what qualifies as a crime? There have been numerous reports about Coinbase tracking for people that gamble. Do you think that is okay? I'm actually feeling very bullish for bitcoin. Short term, it's still great to trade whether trend is headed down or up. But all the big players entering the game lately is very encouraging for the long run IMO. Lot's of people see real promise and we're just building a foundation in 2014 and now. Companies are setting up their positions in the market. Remember in just 5-6 years the block reward will only be around 6 BTC. If the BIT is still around, I assure you it still wont be on the pink sheets. Buying and HODLing isn't meant to be fun or glamorous.

Long squeeze? Definitely possible, so I went with yes. We've went from 24.5 mill in USD swaps to 23.8 mill today, so some people are already closing their long positions.

It means those who are buying don't have fiat, and those who are selling don't have bitcoin. The majority are leveraged positions which could create some serious volatility due to cascading margin calls.

UITs are mainly buy and hold investments. They have maturity dates similar to CDs and there is little trading with most UITs. If you're looking for something for the big boys to actually trade on an exchange you're looking at an ETF.
