I told you all bitcoin had no underlying value, but did you listen? Of course not. A fool and his money.

Invest in low cost index funds. It's not pretty, but this slow growth is the key to wealth. Do you think I was born a billionaire? No. You need to loose money before you know how to make money. Hopefully you learned your lessons good and will make wise decision from now on.

  • 51% attack vulnerabiliy still not fixed
  • still much easy to use credit card or paypal instead
  • price falling for over a year, and now lower than previous all time high from April 2013. wow.

if you don't sell now, you're a stupid and will regret so much

Is this doge?

yes. doge coin also fail, much faster than the bitcoin, but basically if you watching doge, you can see future of bitcoin. this is a warning for holders so make the right choice.

I find Bitcoiner antics delightful, there's no room for hate in my heart--it is two sizes too small Smiley

You would have to pay me a lot of money to always have the price of coffee on my screen and have me write dozens of posts a day on a coffee forum. Just wondering what your incentives are?

You need to understand, people who invest in coffee beans are a little more sensible and don't expect to get rich in a fortnight and don't call their new coffee recipe "revolutionary" new technology, all while it plummets in value. That's what makes bitcoiners so much fun to watch!

Observing you Bitcoiners is much funnier than watching the price of coffee.  Stop selling yourself short.

You own bitcoin. You have money on at least one bitcoin exchange. You have posted more than 5000 times in 9 months from one acct and have several other active alts.

I think it is fair to say you ARE a bitcoiner.

 Huh

You have no proof that I have money on any bitcoin exchange. I, Lambchop, am one of a kind and do not hold any alts.

Yes, most likely. Best case scenario is that it stagnates around $280 before continuing down again. There is still no positive momentum for consumer adoption, and too many scams and fraud that are keeping people far, far away.

Free advice for the bulltards: Admit defeat and sell your holdings. You will sleep much easier once you relieve yourself of the torture of riding a speculative bubble down, and you can at least take a lesson from this to invest in real, profit bearing assets in the future and not "get rich quick" magic beans.

I don't think I've ever seen the bitcoin market this anemic. Basically the only people still holding are putting their faith in some kind of magical turn around, based on nothing but blind self reassurance that the price *needs* to rally again because...

math, fundamentals, internet, man in suit on message board told me.

It's the worst form of degenerate gambling. Lots of stupids... why not just go to casino and bet on roulette wheel? That would give much better chance!

Could you please explain in detail why the price might not rally again? Do you have an explanation? Or should we believe in your version of the magic that it won't turn around and self reassurance that Bitcoin will die.

Otherwise you are looking kind of like an idiot, that only focuses on price and hasn't got a clue what's going around in the world, Bitcoin developments, etc.

I'm still waiting for one of you perma-bulls to tell me why you expect people to buy bitcoin for anything other than gambling speculating. The fact that I still haven't met a single person in my life who told me they've bought bitcoins to go shopping (or even have interest) is proof enough.

People don't want them because there's a barrier to entry to buy them, and even once they have them, they need to be secured, which is burdensome and technically intimidating for anyone who doesn't already have a keen interest in security. Then, even if they want to spend them, they're faced with a wild west ecosystem of no consumer protection. No chargebacks, orders expire in 10 minutes, no points or any other "membership" rewards, customer service nightmares... you have to be smoking something if you think people are interested in that?

There's several other very sound arguments as to why bitcoin is incapable of operating as a currency, but until perma-bulls can even explain why ordinary people would buy bitcoins for any practical reason... the burden is on their side! Check mate, you lose.

I don't think it will happen that fast. There are still too many gullible people with a financial stake in bitcoin who want to believe this is just like 2011 all over again. At some point they need to stop the bleeding I would think. Maybe $200 will hold for now?

I thought a major appeal of bitcoin was that it was free from government control. So how is that a good thing?

Quote
microsoft/Dell/expedia, and so forth and much more... but the price collapsed and the sentiment is as if bitcoin is going to hell.
Microsoft, Dell, and Expedia are not accepting bitcoins. They are accepting USD through a third party payment processor. Only after bitcoiners begged them to accept their coins did they relent. And it's because it didn't cost much to integrate and they know that there will only be a a tiny trickle of people using the option.

This is actually bad for bitcoin, because it essentially demonstrates that real businesses are not willing to accept bitcoins unless they're dumped immediately for cash. Bitcoin is far too volatile and prone to theft to be viable as a real currency.

Always need a heads up, so I don't loose my BTC/fiat.

Warren Buffet -- the guy who all the bitcoiners claimed was too old and conservative to understand the potential of bitcoin -- is still enjoying his billions of dollars and auctioning off one of his luxury cars for charity this week, just because he can.

Meanwhile, bitcoiners are hoping that they can buy more than a matchbox car with the investment they made in this "revolutionary new technology". It must have really burned when their dreams of becoming rich got shattered and they realize they bought into the hype of digital funbux.

Warren Buffet will be dead in 10 years.
**** all his billions can do about that.

Well you're right about that, he is going to die eventually. I guess neither cold hard cash or digital fun bux can ultimately save any of us from that fate.

Another day, and the price continues to fall as delusional bulls gradually come to their senses.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain. Bitcoin is doing just fine.

OK I'm done calling out NotLambchop for the day.  I think I've made my point.  Back to Bitcoin

All right, back to bitcoin. So how are those bitcoin bags. Must be getting heavy.

Still no moon? OK, so bitcoin is a failure. I guess most people don't want to be their own banks. And from watching these forums and reddit for the past year, I can see why!

Kind of the same way that 99.9% of people would rather not be their own airline pilot or their own heart surgeon...

Wasn't bitcoin supposed to be worth $1 mirrion dollars per coin by now according to Rpitelia and Stephen Reed?

Hey everyone, how's that bitcoin investment going? (Just HODL, right? And don't look back!)

Honestly, it doesn't seem to be going too well.

I told you all since the start of 2014 that bitcoin was over. Nobody is interested in it anymore as an investment.. that means GAME OVER for all of you trying to make it rich. Sorry, but it just isn't going to happen. Here's why:

1. China is out. Their govt cracked down on it, which was a wake up call for investors around the world that bitcoin CAN be controlled by governments, and rather easily, at that.

2. There are no developers! There is a very small team of men working on the bitcoin project part time. And they hardly receive anything for their troubles. There's no accountability behind any of it and nobody to turn to when there are software issues and bugs uncovered. And this isn't just a new version of Windows which could have a bug like a sound driver issue. If something goes wrong, ALL YOUR MONEY COULD BE LOST. Nobody aside from maniacs is willing to take on those risks.

3. There is simply no momentum anymore. From 2009 until 2013, some interesting things were happening. Bitcoin went from nothing essentially, to something that was being talked about on the news, and even a few stores were willing to accept it. More stores followed, but very few actually accept bitcoins. They actually take them and instantly convert to cash, so it's a gimmick more than anything. Now many of these stores aren't accepting at all anymore, because nobody uses it!

Nevermind the fact all crypto is designed to centralize, thus invalidating it's entire claimed fundamental value proposition.

You can't centralize money if you lack a money printer + taxation/extortion system.

Tell that to those big btc pools.

Bitcoin's price is really stable at 10,000$ any thoughts on what is happening with this? would the price still go up from this value?

Some idiot bear will bring the price down ... we have broken the downtrend from dezember, but someone will throw a big bunch of btc on the market, so that we are in the down channel again. i am pessimistic. there is always a bear to bring the price down ...

But the bulls are always around the corner and when they see red... Grin
