I have noticed BTC seems to be holding up well whenever there "begins" to be some type of panic selling.  We'll see if that can hold up much longer.  It looks like it's making another re-test of the lows.

Once again we see resistance around 900. Is there such a thing as a triple bottom?
I just doubt there is enough demand right now to push this thing above the ATH.

Instead of resistance when it's on the lower end it's called support.  Yes there are triple bottoms, rarely, but if that happens it's a really strong support, and if it holds it's a great sign.  I don't think there are quadruple bottoms though...

What's going on with gox right now?  are people able to get through if they want to sell or are they stuck like last time?  just wondering if the new improvements they made are helping keep trading responsive

Looks like a bug on the database end where it's stuck in a loop where the last transaction is contantly getting rolled back and transactions are being done all over again.

You're not the first to say something weird is happening on Gox.  They'd be better off stopping trading for 15 mins if something is messed up so no one panics.

They missed that panic button about 4 hours ago.  Gox is broken and repeating orders...

That's nuts.  With thousands/millions of dollars isn't someone sitting there watching nothing goes bonkers?

The question as far as I'm concerned is whether this is real or some type of dead cat bounce.  I mean to get over $1000, close to $1100 would mean something to me.  If it stalls out soon though I'd be worried it's headed for another drop.  We'll see I guess.  Anyone familiar with characteristics of dead cat bounce?

Wow I was talking about resistance at $1k but wow look at that someone pushed it way over $1k so there would be no doubt about it coming back under $1k.  Looks like a good sign for price IMHO.

Well it holding above 1000 so that gives bulls hope. Let's see if it goes under 1k or over the all time high that's the real question.

No one saying much when the price is skyrocking, but everyone wants to say you're stupid now that the price dropped in half, but still much higher than a couple months ago.

Jeez BTC price is getting boring.  It does seem to do this though, get boring on us and then it will do some craziness for a month or 2.  Let's hope for craziness to the upside at least shall we?
