What I don't get is there's a lot of opposition to putting it in water supplies yet never any discussion on not adding it. I keep hearing this teeth argument but if the damn stuff is already in toothpaste then there's no need to add it to the water supply. Also, aren't there laws against medication without consent?

I've seen people saying that they fear the fall and end of BTC but many people just claim things they aren't so sure about. Back in the day I mined myself a nice ol' stash of coins, saw them bubble to over $25 each (hory sheet!), bubble popped and the future was bleak for what seemed like an eternity. I SHOULD have put my coins in cold storage, stepped away from the keyboard, lived my life, and not wasted so much time and energy on it. So, that's what i'm doing this time. I can think of a few others that would benefit from the same advice.

The problem is that lot of people are overinvested, they probably need that money in the mid short term.
Lot of bitcoin investors bought because they wanted to be rich fast, and now is happening quite the opposite, they're coming poor faster with money they probably can't or shouldn't afford to lose.

I'm fundamentally put off by Ripple being centralised and having seemingly much investor backing by those that are already part of the financial system.

I'm no expert; I've only casual knowledge of the Ripple system but it appears to be the one crypto that is funded and driven by those already involved in banking and position of financial power.

I'm interested in up and coming alts (or crypto 2.0, if you will) and I have invested in a couple, but I'd be very happy if one of the genuinely decentralised systems usurp it over the next couple of years.

Like I said yesterday, I'll start worrying about the trend since Jan if and when we fall and stay below 260/265, or dip below the DSMA20 without quickly recovering from it.

Unless something like that happens, I consider the most likely scenario that we're going through a repeat of the late February period, i.e. higher low, followed by consolidation, followed by continuation of uptrend.

To play devil's advocate, I can honestly say that the price is going nowhere without a 'push' higher from some high net worth people.  It certainly won't come from Joe Public, as all they have to do is look at a 15 month old price chart and go "Eh, oh hell no!  No sign of life, and might still be falling further."  

We need an uptrend to show on the charts for many more months, maybe a year, before Joe Public starts to take interest again.  Or we need a surprise pump that catches people off-guard (like in 2011, and Jan 2013).

Back from a day on the water and the bitcoin price seems to be experiencing a continued upwards price malfunction.


Still another 8000 shorts to shed before we are back to the levels seen in 2013.

I  think we will be at $278 in 8-10 hours when china starts buying.

Hmmm we seem to be getting dumped, down to 264 USD on Stamp now, I hope I don't wake up & see us in the 250's USD range again. Got a bad feeling that's exactly what's going to happen. Too many people manipulating the price, not wanting us to go near or get above 300 USD.
