"Don't sell the bear skin before killing it"

Cheesy

True, true. But according to some (probably trolling) theorists we should be in the 2 digit to 300$ range by now.

not easy to choose whom to listen to and in which circumstances! Better to hesitate when holding if not sure. Well done   Smiley

Yep, still a bit new to this, but I've figured I'll hold to the moon and beyond :-)

Every "normal" guy can afford at least 10-100 btc.

Perhaps every middleclass 'Murican and European, don't know about the rest of the world though.

This is the wrong thread. But 'gosh dang', what the hell is up with altcoins? My where worth aprox. 0.3 BTC three days ago, now they are closing in to 2.5 BTC!

I thought you were speaking about BTC, not alts - I'd say that this is not a bad moment to dump LTC and NMC (don't even know about the others, the only one which is semi-interesting to me is PPC).

Haha, just edited my post. This is getting complex. I'll hold on at least until tomorrow and decide then. Not to many strong believers in altcoins here. Personally I haven't really made up my mind.

C'mon bitcoin. Do something funny. I know you can. Either crash to the 700s so I can buy more, or peak so I can smile again.

Gox: $785
BTC-e: $785
Stamp: $785.99

Consolodation is good... Right?

Just means there are a lot of "worthless" Goxbux floating around?

Everyone here is going to tell you that the price is going down until they close their shorts or re-entry positions.  When the price is going down, get back to the fundamentals and the actual numbers.  Some bears took advantage of the doom and gloom they were able to post all around and got a bunch of inexperienced traders to leave their original positions at far greater losses, there will be some good natured people spreading this doom and gloom now to further their own positions now that they got caught with their shorts down.  Someone is dropping ~100 coins every 10 minutes for the past 4 hours now in an attempt to cause a second wave of panic when the only reason the panic started in the first place was because of two well timed 5,000 coin drops that have since re-entered.. their are some very big coin holders in here that would love more people to give in to the illusion of the lower entry greed.  The normal uptalkers right now are busy starring at charts while the normal downtalkers are attempting to take advantage of the lack of confidence instilled.  Patience in your friend.

Not sure that picture holds. As a professional coder I get paid about $97000 per year, converted from NOK, by a large multinational company. Then comes about 40% income tax, which leaves me with $38800 per year or $3233 per month or $161 per day or $21 per hour or BTC0.029 per line, given the "think for an hour, write one line" mantra.

In other words 34.5 lines per BTC

How is a 40% tax of 97000 equal to 38800. Wouldn't that be a 60% tax?

Ellers er det jo en fin lønn, det Smiley
