Yea But what is the reason the presure is quit high to keep the price down

Whales shorting/dumping and playing games. A last ditch effort. They know a technical breach is coming soon, and once that happens robot trading takes over and forces the market in a different direction.

Guess which direction?

As I recall from the 80's it going down...

A well regulated milita does not require full auto weapons.

Who the fuck is arguing for full auto weapons in the civilian population ?! No sane person I know. That's who.

The Gun Owners Of America for starters.  Or are there no sane people in the GOA?

https://gunowners.org/goa-on-bump-stocks.htm

Unless you are going to tell me that an AR15 with a bump stock is not the equivalent of an auto?  Stephen Paddock was doing 9 rounds per second with a perfectly legal weapon.  That’s a full auto as far I am concerned.

What I don't understand is how bump stocks are not considered as intended for ilegal modification of a firearm (into full auto) and banned for that reason.

That said.... it's not as if Paddock didn't have the monetary resources to have bought illegal full auto firearms or even an RPG in the black market.

My guess is that a illegal markets are more prudent in who to sell then to legal gun shops who consequently has less liability and litigation for after sale consequences.

This forum can be used as a means to discuss various strategies when it comes to bitcoin investing - looking at short term or long term price dynamics, and of course from time to time, people are going to differ in their opinion and their approach.. some will be more and some will be less profitable, including strategies that might start out with greater or lesser levels of capitalization.

Some folks participate in this thread because they are trying to create price effect, rather than merely reading the effects, and some folks here find that kind of behavior annoying.

I am actually around 2 to 3% too, yet I think that I am creating a bit of a trick question with the concept of "needed" since there are so many alt coin pumpers who try to suggest diversification within crypto is "needed" .. but really they are frequently diluting their bitcoin holdings with a bunch of shit.

Exactly, as out of app. 500 billion cap of all crypto, BTC has app 170 billion share at the moment. Imagine all those alts weren't existed at all and BTC would be much more worth in value.

Would like to see that calc if someone can offer?

And one other thing, please don't throw up, saw somewhere ICO market cap is currently 9 billion (all above in $US)...

Pardon me if this has already been discussed, but:
Whats your thought that after bitcoin futures were introduces we go now some people who bought shorts and they have interest to manipulate bitcoin (not futures but real bitcoin) by drawing it down. Before real interest was primary to pump and dump real bitcoin, but now some big player can all the sudden play bear market. And the tools they have different then for example with gold, or some other stock, they can play on two fields.

And people used to play bear market with other stocks can see they have big potental and possible huge huge incomes if they can draw bitcoin to its knees.

Whole thing about BTC futures is to get a Chinese guy to get some cash as they have no use of the exchanges in Asia. Regarding price manipulation add the effect of stock brokers who are used to trade on big moves. So we just need to be patient for all of them to get their lambos and we will get to the levels we all want and with increased adoption it will reach in future.

The Russian Association of Crypto-Currency and Block-Cause criticized the draft law of the State Duma
HODLikeMarch 20, 2018

The Russian Association of Crypto-Currency and Block (RACIB), criticized the draft law "On the Digital Financial Assets", which was submitted to the State Duma on March 20, by Anatoly Aksakov, head of the Financial Market Committee.

The bill fixes the definition of the crypto currency as property in electronic form, as well as establishes a special procedure for making transactions with it.

According to Yury Pripachkin, the President of the Russian Academy of Financial Police, this legislative initiative, in particular, creates advantages for working with foreign investors.

"It is illogical to impose any restrictions on attracting funds, motivating it with the interest for future deceived investors, but at the same time removing restrictions for foreign investors." Apparently the usual scheme of investing Russia-Cyprus-Russia suits everyone, "said Pripachkin to Interfax.

The head of the association is the skeptical of the proposal for the exchange of financial assets. "The status of such operators is incomprehensible, it is obvious that the crypto-investors will not work with them," Pripachkin said.

"We also do not agree that mining is an entrepreneurial activity," added Pripachkin. According to him, mining itself is a procedure for producing certain software. "The economic meaning arises when they change to fiat money - it is from this stage that taxation can be introduced," the head of the RACIB believes.

All this may lead to the leakage of crypto-investors from Russia, concluded the head of the RACIB. "To prevent this from happening, and the industry develops, it is necessary to take into account the position of the industry, Pripachkin.

He added that following the results of the Blochein 2018 congress, scheduled for March 27-28, the RACIB will formulate a proposal to finalize this bill and send it to the government of the Russian Federation.

45. Post 32845531 (copy this link) (by Vlada69) (scraped on 2020-04-04_Sat_15.49h):

The Goldman Sachs technical analysis team led by Sheba Jafari has recently made another bitcoin price forecast and believes that the price of this mainstream cryptocurrency is likely to create a new low since February.

On Sunday, the team warned users that bitcoin sales in the next wave of the market will cause its price to reach its lowest level since February, at $5922. They believe that the triggering of this sell-off may be bitcoin prices falling below the short-term support at $9,210.

"This fall is very important because it implies a possible sudden crash in the future," Jafari said. Her team warned investors to pay attention to bitcoin prices: The

next notable drop was from $7,667 to $7,198.
This decline is indicative of structural damage and is likely to create a new low price (<5922 US dollars). At this time, we need to return to 9322 US dollars (the price on February 26 this year) as soon as possible to stabilize the price.
As director of Goldman Sachs' Technology Strategy Department, Jafari is known for criticizing Bitcoin. Last July, Jafari said bitcoin may fall to $4,000 at the end of the year. By November, when Bitcoin’s price reached 7,000 U.S. dollars, Jafari predicted that the currency could hover around 8,000 U.S. dollars before continuing to rise.

As a result, the price of Bitcoin rose to 20,000 U.S. dollars in December last year, and fell to a minimum of 6048 U.S. dollars in February this year. Experts believe that the reason for the decline in the currency price is likely to be that Mt. Gox lawyers and bankruptcy administrators sold $400 million worth of Bitcoin.

Thanks to FED increase of basic rate of borrowing cost of live capital increased from 1.5 to 1.75% thus creating fall in stock markets and consequentially on our crypto markets. And Zuks story and all the others recently circulating you can do the math.

Sorry folks but we are going down even though I am not for it.

Good morning tribe.

Upward buying pressure has increased as we head deeper into the week. I see a nice steady flow of buys over the last 12 hours indicating building market confidence. I believe we will be testing resistance at $8.3k soon as positive buying sentiment returns to the market.

The chart could be slightly exaggerated( Tongue) but I think the market is going to move back towards that over all trend line at $9.5k+.

#dyor #btfd

I don't want to be rain on your parade but would like to add the test between 8.4k/8.5k. If it goes up from there I think will reach 11k range again. Otherwise quite bearish.

Rate increase is the biggest problem here. No more free dollars, no more bubbles.

Lots of companies will go out of business because of this. Mortgages, banks, retail markets... Everybody will have his fair share from the FEDocalypse.

Sad thing is if the interest rates go higher, it won't just destroy bubbles because those bubbles existed for so long, they became the economy itself. That's why some experts call this a "bubble economy".

And bitcoin, some called it "tulips of our century", even if it had nothing to do with tulips, will get affected because bubble or not, everything is connected.

And then it will be a  dot.com. 2.0

Bitcoin goes to sub $1k levels, people suicide, alts get completely destroyed, people even suicide more. FED decides to lower the interests again and starts printing money, people completely lose interest in USD or any other paper money because they'll hold the FED responsible for the carnage, then people will completely leave the current banking system and...

It is very interesting why rate increase at this moment. Could be to pay off tax deductions but it will end up a whole lot of mess. Apparently US GDP is not doing well as prices fall and adding to current administration it will go from bad to worse. Ah 2 more years to wait... Like after Mt.Gox...Should we call this Mt.Trumps?

Bitcoin > $1 million USD.

When that time comes, it won't matter because USD will be no better than Zimbabwe dollars.

P.S. BTC is the real USD and true vision of Abraham Lincoln.

Still bullish. Volume of sells doesn’t match our rebound of buys.

I can’t see if all the sells were in fact simply support being withdrawn to get a lower price and have shorts close? Could be another bear trap.

News about Bitcoin have been pretty good lately and overall development has been making progress.
Price is pretty stable these days so I assume we are getting close to another bullish run and probably another all time high in few months.

Really good time to invest in my opinion. If you were going to buy some more BTC, you should do it now.

That is a mystery of all of it. So much news of such and such city or company using blockchain but price still stay low. Hope it is a bubble who will burst finally towards 100k.

There have been five mass extinction events on Earth that we know about. During each one, 75% of all species on the planet died. Most of these extinctions were caused directly or indirectly by climate change. During what palaeontologist have nicknamed The Great Dying, 95% of the species on the planet was wiped out by super volcanoes that erupted for centuries, slowly turning the atmosphere to poison. Another became know as the Oxygen Explosion, during which primitive bacteria covered the planet and oops ate up all the CO2. Humans will probably be the catalyst for the sixth mass extinction, if not the driving force.

What kind of cars caused the first five extinction events? If they had Teslas would they have been prevented?

The Oxygen Extinction was caused by cyanobacteria, the first and so far only life-form that has successfully kicked off a global apocalypse. We could be the second with that attitude.

I think humans can strive to be better than cyanobacteria. Our global apocalypse will be better.

Then we can just terraform the living daylights out of it and call it a day.

Like so:

Debt of usa is over 21 trillion. Debt of bitcoin = absolutely nothing and never will. I dont know why people worry about how bitcoin gets its value when usd is in a debt spiral with no end.

You forgot to mention that debt of USA is 21 trillion dollars of USA.  Cheesy

And USA also make more money out of their own debt. Own by them Wink

The US Congress has the option to buy back the FED at $450 millions (per Congressional Records). When the Congress does this, it will own back the billions of US Government Bonds held by the FED. The US Government will actually PROFIT by buying back the FED! Also, the US government no longer has to pay interests to the FED owners on those bonds.

How many times have you ever heard Trump mention ending the fed? ....cricket sounds.  It seems like the only reason he's deporting the Mexicans is because Mexico and China are exporting deflation to the US via cheap labor, and the US banking system/all debt based currency must continuously inflate or face cascading deflationary collapse.  At first glance it appears he's going against the Jew banker Kalergi white genocide plan, when in reality, a lot of this stuff are things the bankers would probably do as a last ditch effort to prop their debt based system up and prevent collapse of the banks.

FED fork Wink lol

I wouldn't be surprised if the CFTC "investigation" is just being done as a favor for the banksters to get cheaper coins.

Hence the news about banks spending 1.8 billion on blockchain...

My mate has two tickets for the final of the World Cup 2018 but he is getting married on that day and cannot attend.

If anyone wants to go instead of him, it's at St Andrews Church in Brighton and the bride’s name is Sarah.

Cannot attend his wedding or to go to World Cup? Wink
